Nat looked at these girls, and felt something was off... in the fact that they looked regular. They didn't look like a group at all.
They could pass as normal, everyday girls.
Then they began speaking.
"Hey there, hot stuff." a girl whispered. She had curly blonde hair and brown eyes, and wore a pink beret with a pink sweater and skirt.
"Can I touch? I won't scratch the paint." a brunette asked, hovering her hand in a grip over Nat's arm. She was wearing a teal jacket with yoga pants to compliment her blue eyes.
"You have a girlfriend?" asked a red head in gaudy make-up wearing a tank top and yoga pants.
All three of them talked like they came out of an unfunny gay person skit.
"Uhhhh... no.... I don't say I'm THAT kind of girl..." Nat said.
"Ohhhh..." the trio sighed in disappointment.
'Geez, just because I'm not feminine means I'm gay in this place?!' Nat fumed in her head.
As the tomboy looked around, she saw plenty of gay couples. The cheerleaders and femjocks were swapping spit. A goth blushed as a black haired punk flexed for her. A nerd and anime club member held hands in the halls.
'So why were those girls so freakin' cartoony?' Nat asked mentally while bumping into a red haired punk.
"Hey, back off, prissy!" the punk snapped.
"Prissy?" Nat asked.
"Princess Sissy. I mean, there are plenty of us that are gay, but we don't act like cartoon characters." a cheerleader explained.
"Hey! I'm not some "princess sissy!" " Nat yelled with a flustered face.
"Tell'em honey!" the blonde in the pink beret called out.
"Paige Mercue. The queen of the prissies. Where's the brunette and ginger? What are their names? Wimpy and Door Mat?" the punk sneered.
Paige huffed "Whitney and Kat!"
"Whatever, later prissies." the punk said as she stormed off.
Nat turned to face Paige and saw she was gone. She looked back into her hand and saw the phone numbers for the three "prissies" with "Call Me/Us" on the bottom.
**************************************
Nat just stared at the numbers listed.
'Should I call? I'm not gay... right? It's just a call.... besides, there are other gay people here, they wouldn't mind... not that I swing that way...' the tomboy thought as she called...
