Jen continued to sift through the documents found in the box; a multitude consisted of updated personal information. Since they were still two separate people, both of them counted as individual citizens, despite being stuck together; though, their sex was labeled as female. And, since they now had one body, both of them were listed on documents with just Kyle's face. Examining their id and passport proved this; Kyle was the only one with the face after all. "Interesting; I never considered the legal ramifications of us being like this either." Kyle stated, watching as Jen placed another document onto the pile.
Eventually, she stumbled upon a folder labeled "Medical Information", "This will definitely give us a name or two for some doctors." Jen said, scratching an itch on her right breast. Kyle blushed at that, "Uh, yeah, it'd be best for us to be up to date on our body anyway. I don't want there to be any issues later on." About 5 sheets of paper in, was one with a doctor's name; a gentleman named Brent Wellington. Apparently, he specialized in hormones for people, mostly after undergoing hormone therapy. "Wait, what does the hormones from our body do to my head? I would assume nothing since I still look like a male somewhat, but maybe the effects would be more long term." He posited, to which Jen was left speechless at first. "If that's the case, we really should find out then!" She explained, before rushing her and Kyle to their cell phone (which was Jen's originally).
"Yes, hello?" A deep toned, male voice answered after Jen called Dr. Brent's number. "Hi, this is Kyle.....oh, and Jennifer." Kyle hesitantly greeted. "Ah, Kyle and Jen; good to hear from you." Brent said. "Is it correct of me to presume you would like to schedule an appointment? You may have finished your therapy a while ago, but it still never hurts to have scheduled check ups." Brent explained, happily speaking from his profession. "Didn't think we were being that obvious." Jen joked, then fully understanding how far she and Kyle must have come in this reality. After the teleportation accident, of course she and him would've had to undergo intense physical therapy to coordinate head and separately controlled body.
"Well, yeah, actually." Kyle discussed his worries. "I'm just slightly worried how messed up things might get with the mix of hormones in our body." Brent chuckled before explaining, "We've discussed this before, but if you two are still that concerned, I can have an appointment scheduled today since I have some time. How does a few hours from now sound?" "That'd be great, thanks so much!" Kyle said, surprised by the high tone of joy Jen's voice was able to reach. "Going to meet a guy in private with a body like this makes me feel a little awkward, you know." Jen said, hanging up the phone. "Yeah, I know. I feel the awkwardness, too." Kyle sighed, as Jen wiped her inner left thigh.
