Everyone had heard of Transform or Dare. A variant of Truth Or Dare with immense reality shaping power. However, not many people have heard of Pass Along. A similar concept, yet conveyed differently. In pass along, the rules were a tad simpler. A game would start by someone saying the following phrase to someone: "It's your turn to play. Pass it on, or else." The person who it was told to would have to then tell the phrase to somebody else within the hour. If they did, they would dodge punishment. If not, they would be transformed to the original asker's content. This game spread like wildfire in the small town of Kazinska, New York, and now it truly IS your turn to play.
You were bounding around your house, looking frantically for your phone. It had been ringing for the past few minutes, and whenever it went silent, it picked up the next second. Whoever was on the other end REALLY wanted to talk to you. After exploring every possible spot, you find your phone. "blocked number" was what the contact info said. Either way, you answered. "Hello?" you asked the caller. "Hello, Max." the caller responded. How did he know your name? "I have something crucial to tell you." "Yeah, sure, what?" the line wet silent for a moment, and then "It's your turn to play. Pass it on, or else" and the call ended.
You froze in your tracks and dropped your cell. Did he just say what you think he said? That was just am myth! A story people told to teach the value of commitment and keeping promises! no way could whoever that was actually do this to you. But, at the same time, there was the possibility that... and you had to... no, that can't be true. This was bullshit, a game, a story of long ago. Nope, no way he could have did a thing to you, that's for sure. However, as your hour ticked to a close, you started panicking. There's that chance it's more than a myth. And even if it is a myth, you should probably keep the train going. You do like a good chain story. with mere minutes, you made your choice.
