“Hello everyone and welcome to a new episode of Animalia Ambassadoria.” Began Sophie, starting the latest episode of Animalia Ambassadoria.
“We’re now live at the newest Animalia Amazon Colony to both celebrate my getting out of the hospital, answer your questions, and preview this newest colony and other future plans.” Said Roland, reappearing after three weeks in the hospital.
“But before we do any previews, we’re going to answer the question that most people want answered.” Said Malice, reading the question on the website. “While Axotlotl DNA has made possible both Project Cenozoic And Project Dinotopia, both it and the Virus simply cannot be used to make mythical creatures real through Animalians. To explain why, here is Dr. Miyamoto...” Then a picture-in-picture appeared on screen showing Dr. Miyamoto.
“As was seen in the earliest stages of stillborn Project Chimera,” explained Dr. Miyamoto, “if the virus contains two different strands of DNA, such as lion and eagle, the strands try to overwrite each other and end up killing any tissue sample introduced to them, even when boosted by axotlotl DNA.”

After the question block, as well as many digital expressions of disappointment, the tour of the new Animalia Amazon Colony began. While the major theme of the hotel was that of a lost jungle temple, the 15th floor included a walkway/doorway to the main treetop village that was part of the colony. The treetop village was designed to be as low impact on the environment as possible. One area that was walled off and had the entrance guarded by native primate Animalians was clearly the entrance to the clothing-optional part of the colony.
There was also a showing of the meeting between Melbourne and his nephew Ben. It was rather amusing to see his nephew tower over him by two feet. He also chose that time to reveal another thing that he was going to be working on. Apparently, during the survey of where a ancient Egyptian-themed colony was to be placed, the authorities in Egypt had accidentally discovered a village that dated back to the intermediate period that spanned the middle and new kingdoms. Melbourne was being called there to help document what was there. Also, that was the reason why Melbourne had chosen not to become an Animalian at that time.
There was also a display on the archaeological finds that were found at the dig site. Apparently, while the location wasn’t El Dorado, it was apparently an important place. There were very few real inhabitants of the village, but there were many different tribes who would visit the village as part of important ceremonies. Judging by the decorations on the more than 500 pots that had been found, these festivals/ceremonies were like Boy Scouts of the Amazon River Basin Jamboree.
