"...ears...to go with the tail I mean." she says. She shifts position, now sitting cross-legged in midair with her hands resting on her knees. "I mean if you have two more wishes it's not a bad idea. Do the ears and the tails and then use your last wish to become human again. Similar to that previous master I told you of." she says. You nod slightly. It is sound reasoning. You could have wished to be rich or famous or whatnot, but the experience of being a fox-man, brief though it may be, isn't something anyone else you know will be able to claim. You nod.
"Okay. Sure. Give me the ears." you say "Fox ears!" you clarify. The genie smiles in response.
"Ohhh...again you show how clever you are. I was all set to give you a pair of mouse ears, but you've caught on to my trick. You're such a smart master." she says and nods again. Your ears twitch slightly as she does. It begins to feel as though tiny ants are crawling all over your human ears. You rub your right ear between your thumb and forefinger in order satisfy the itch when you begin to feel soft, fine fur growing where before was only skin and cartilage. The ears begin growing, getting softer as well as they begin taking the stereotypical shape of a foxes ears. You smile as the ears continue changing, getting larger and furrier until finally your head is home to a brand new set of fox ears. Presumably orange to match the tail. You twitch them slightly, feeling more control over the position of your ears then you've ever felt before.
"Wow...this is kinda cool." you say the genie, she simply smiles at you.
"I'm glad you like them." she says through a bit of a giggle.
You spent a few moments twitching your ears, and pausing to listen to sounds that before were beyond your ability to hear. It's a stunning experience, the improved hearing, the ability to run your fingers through the thick fox-fur of your tail. You're not sure how long you spend enjoying them but eventually you look at the sky and realize that the sun is now far to the west, causing a pinkish hue to the sky. It's getting late.
"Okay, genie, I suppose I should be getting home." you tell her
"Very well. I hope you've enjoyed our time together." she says with a smile.
"Most certainly. Now for my final wish-"
"Oh the ears were your last wish." she says.
"What are you talking about I have one wish left. You said so yourself." You counter.
"No...I said the ears would be a good idea IF you had two more wishes. First you asked for a tail. I misheard you and told you a story about my old master wanting to be a bird, horse and human respectively...a tale if you will. Then the tail, then the ears." she says her smile turns slightly malicious.
"But...no that's not what I meant." you say, your ears flattening backwards to reflect your nervousness.
"Well you should have clarified. Your wishes, per my understanding are used up. So again, I hope you enjoy your new ears and tail, because you're keeping them for a long time." she says and laughs. You can't believe what you're hearing. You clench your fists and glare at the genie as she floats before you smirking.
"You make me a human again right now or..." you begin. She responds by growing taller. Much taller. By the time she's done she stands at least twelve feet tall. She smiles evilly at you, placing one hand on your head.
"...or...what...?" she asks threateningly.
