The more times Ryan gives a look toward Erick the Lion he is seems more like a Lion. As the first change changed his form and skin the second round of changes were just beginning.
Now his beastly strong muscles were becoming very pronounced. Hind legs were the first to flare of toned muscles peaking through the hairy hide. Shoulders came next as then those muscles along Ericks back firmed up making him prance as even he felt the growing strength.
Soft growls and an occasional true Lion sized roar was making Ryan nervous.
Erick raised his huge head and with a sniff to the quickly turned his head to look at Ryan. He stopped his parading around only to give a raw stare toward his friend.
"What, don't look at me like that you make me....ah you make me...!" Ryan said but without trying to say "scared".
Erick walked slowly over to Ryan and proceeded to weasle his tauny mane and head into Ryan stomach. A low but soft growl and then like a contented cat he started to Purr.
Ryan kneeled down and began to rub and scratch Erick's mane and the top of his haed and ears.
As the Purring began and for a moment got even more intense it stopped suddenly as Erick backed away from Ryan's touchings.
"Roar!" growled out of Erick's now fang filled mouth.
Ryan quivered a shiver of fear down his spine as he really was expecting to be attacked at any moment.
Again as fast as Erick took offense to Ryan his anger quelled and he took a calmer attitude again.
"You scare me!" stated Ryan. "What are we going to do?"
The Lion just looked at him as if also in wondering.
"Erick, your a Lion African or Indian type I can't tell but you are a true Lion in form! If this doesn't wear off, what do you want me to do next? You can't go home, not like you are! I can't take you home as a pet, my Dad would never allow it either! We might have you placed in a zoo? Oh, or maybe in a circus, that might be neat!" suggested Ryan as he asked his friend to chose his maybe final place to live the life of a Lion.
These thoughts maybe had not struck Erick before but they did then and he was feeling most uneasy. His prancing now changed from the thrilled boy feeling Lion sensations and thinking only of ways to play as a Lion.
Now reality was fast making its ugly self remove those happy thoughts and replaced them with wonders of his situation. Ryan watched in silence as his friend began to cry Lion tears. He could see the real world now making itself known, he too felt bad for his friend.
"Come'on we can't stay down here, the others are upstairs and alone!" said Ryan as he headed for the steps.
Slowly Erick walked that way, a stop to give a look back at his human clothing laying in a heap by the wine locker doorway, it was a reminder of what was but was now not anymore.
