Chronivac Version 4.0

Ben asks for a lift, Reed gets one

added 5 years ago BM Mythological

Ben was still taken aback by Reed's 'good' news, he had to think fast.

"Reed..." He began, "can give me a lift to Cityville?"

"Hmm? Sure I'll ride you to there, I don't see a problem in that." Reed answered

Ben let out a *long* sigh of relief, as the lungs in his equine body relaxed. If he got to Cityville sooner than he had to leave for his appointment at the Wickmans, it meant he was saved from what he had to do there.

"Let's see," Reed continued, "I've scheduled the appointment at nine in the morning tomorrow, so I can get you to Cityville afterwards, it's our route anyway."

Ben's heart beat in his chest again, "Wait what?"

"Oh sorry Ben, if you don't want to travel such a long distance after the visit, I understand the intercourse thing takes up a lot of your energy, we can always go the day after."

"No!" Exclaimed Ben, he took a few steps on all fours to approach Reed, because of which he towered above him with the Clydesdale's lower body. "I meant today already. We've still got the time right?"

"Ben, we're talking about a 1 hour long ride, It just takes too long. I'll be going back home in two hours again, the same amount of travelling time you're asking for. I haven't even got any idea how long we'll be staying in Cityville. Besides, back to the topic of getting you there, 2 times 1 hour of travelling isn't comfortable, even if it were with a sad-"

Ben interrupted him. "Seriously Reed, this is urgent!" He stomped his hind hoof onto the ground again, this time no tile was broken. "I really don't care about your complaints right now. Do it this once for me, I won't ask for it again, I promise."

The promise was obvious, if the Chronivac indeed was altered to fit Ben's needs, he didn't have to do it for him anymore.

Reed glared at him, he didn't like what Ben wanted from him, but he said it was urgent. "Fine, I'll get ready."

"Thank you!" Ben happily cried out.

...

Ben was already waiting in the living room, as he heard Reed going into all rooms trying to get everything together. At last he heard him run downstairs. But as Reed opened the door, Ben was met with another surprise. Reed had a full equipment on for horseback riders. He had boots, helmets, even gloves, and what confirmed Reed's ideas of bringing Ben to Cityville, was the saddle he had in his arms, the saddle Ben had seen lying in his closet.

Reed stood there, holding eye contact with the staring centaur. "What are you staring at? You wanted me to ride you there, right?"

"That's right," Ben said, "but with that I meant by car."

Reed then looked at him as if Ben asked the silliest question on Earth. "I... don't think that would fit Ben, geez what's with you today?"

Ben was once again flabbergasted, and broke the eye contact, staring at the floor, defeated. Reed approached him and threw the saddle onto his equine back. He pulled the straps tight, Ben noticed, then walked over to the sliding door, which led to Ben's backyard, and opened it.

"Come on out" He then said to the centaur.

This was going to be one hell of a ride, and both Ben and Reed would seem to agree to this statement.
