While the Animalia Halloween Exposition aka the Halloween Carnival was similar to the last one, with emphasis on information, there was still a lot of prep to get things ready for it. Fortunately, there wasn't a lot of prep that was not done in the first AHE, with only a few exceptions.
Young Animalian children who wanted to be princesses couldn't wear the same costumes that human children wore, but fortunately several tailors decided to open a custom costume creation store. It was similar to a custom clothing store, but instead of rare clothing, it could effectively copy a costume design found at a department store, but sized up for Animalians, as well as comfortable for them.

One certainly unexpected thing was a calling from Horizon for Abby and Co.. They were a little confused, but showed up anyway.
"Everyone," said one of the Scientists assigned to Project Dinotopia, since Jeremy and Heather were getting custom costumes for Polly and Heather, "We've got answers for whether or not Sophie will get wings on her back when she joins Project Dinotopia."
"So soon?" asked Roland, a little surprised.
"When Tyra was officially converted as the pioneer Volunteer for Project Dinotopia, we were able to get data for large theropod conversions. When Tyra learned that we still needed data for other types of Dinosaurs, she got in contact with a few of her really old friends, some of them in a nursing home from Heather's old hometown. We were able to get the data we needed, even though Project Dinotopia doesn't officially open until next summer."
"Really?" asked Sophie, hoping that there wasn't too much difference from flying Animalians.
At that, a new type of Dinotopian walked into the meeting office. She was clearly based off of an Ornithocheirus Simus Animalian, but there was something like a cloak hanging from her back, and a few bony lumps protruding from her shoulders. But other than that, it didn't seem that she had lost her arms at all. The only other difference was that here hide was as shimmering pattern of green and gold scales.
"This is Sherry Anderson, one of Tyra's hired workers when she still was Effie Wilcox and still owned her plantation." Explained the Scientist, then he said to Sherry, "Sherry, show them the results." At that, Sherry turned around and revealed, in a dramatic gesture, that the 'cloak' and 'lumps' on her back were in fact the wings on her back, held close when not in flight like all other flying Animalians.
"I'm probably going to leave my old name behind, and call myself 'Norrie Simus'." said Sherry, admiring her new form.
"You're not upset about losing a lot of the things that most seniors need?" asked Roland.
"Lands no." replied Sherry/Norrie, flexing her new, stronger pectorals and making her new bust bounce. "Many seniors hate getting old, but get used to it. I'm glad that I was better than I was in youth."
"Really?" asked Sophie, getting more and more used to the smaller amounts of clothing that most Animalians wore, as well as the casual nudity that most Animalians used in the Hot Springs at the Golden Mountain Dojo than she was at the St. Patrick's Day festival of this year.
"Certainly," answered Norrie, "Back when I was dainty enough for an airplane to lift, they didn't have them. Neither did I have these," she said, emphasizing her new bust, "nor this." she said, smacking her tush.
"That's apparently why she refuses to use commercial aircraft for travel." whispered the scientist to Roland. Then he spoke more loudly to Norrie, "Well, let's get you over to the Hall of Records and get you registered."

The only other converted Dinotopian that they had data on was a male Brachiosaur Dinotopian named Andrew Thomas, who was thinking of changing his name to Andrew Sarchus. He was 18 inches taller than any Giraffe Animalian, but much larger and more muscularly developed than even Dean. His malehood was certainly the biggest in all of Animalia, sitting at a proud 30 inches. His neck was proportionally (length-wise) similar to a giraffe Animalian's neck, but was certainly a lot more flexible than a giraffe Animalian's.
For now he was performing at the Meat Market with Tyra Wrex in a special show called "Predator in Prey" until he could officially find a job in Animalia. "Predator in Prey" was where a Tyrannosaur stalks a Brachiosaur, but has the tables turned on her, sexually.
Those who were working on Project Dinotopia were still seeking for volunteers for the other dinosaurs most people thought of: Plesiosaur, Triceratops, Velociraptor, Stegosaur, and Iguanodon, among others. But at least they were able to reassure Sophie and Roland that, if they became Pterosaurs, they wouldn't lose their arms.
Project Dinotopia also illustrated a different problem that many Animalians had, especially if they were converted/double dosed from seniors. Since they were younger, physically, Social Security kept insisting that they no longer needed SSI, and in fact should be paying them back. But fortunately, cooler heads in congress prevailed. They passed a law that Senior Citizens who became double-dosed could rely on Social Security until they could get themselves an income, but the IRS would be checking in on them every six months to make sure they weren't committing fraud.
