The tent was lit fairly dimly by several lanterns hanging near the tent's roof as Julia stumbled to a part of the tent where she sees another flap with a small sign reading "Professor Lupo's Midnight Revue" in large block letters with "18 and up only" in small letters. Next to the lettering is the image of a belly-dancing girl. It was then that Julia felt someone's hand grabbing her shoulder, startling her as she turns around to see Joy. Julie had been so entranced by the sign that she didn't notice her sister standing beside her. "Don't scare me like that," Julie said with a frown as Joy laughed. "I couldn't resist," Joy said. "You should have seen the look on your face." Joy then mimics her sister's fearful expression, causing Julie to lighten up as she gets over the initial sense of dread of being in the tent and joins her sister in giggling. "Since we're here," Julia began once the twins composed themselves. "How about we check this show out." "Sure, I guess," replied Joy, who is a bit intrigued by the sign. They enter the exhibit, finding a row of bleachers facing a stage with five to six people sitting. "At least we can get good seats," Julie said as she and Joy sit dead center in the front row.
A minute later, the tent flap closes with fanfare playing over the loudspeaker as a man of Italian descent in ringmaster attire emerges from the stage curtain. "Thank you and welcome to the daytime performance of the Midnight Revue!" he shouted as the sound of polite is heard . "I am Professor Lupo, your guide to the realm of the odd," he continued while flinging his white hankerchief into the air as it turned into a dove. "You will see things that amaze you, perhaps even touched your very souls!" He takes off his hat, pulling out a rabbit. "This is kinda lame," Joy whispered to Julie, who felt equally disappointed. But Lupo whirled while adding, "But you are not here for cheap parlor tricks. Before we begin, allow me to introduce my lovely assistant Barbelo." Lupo then waved his hands in the air dramatically to have the dimly lit lanterns dim further.
Middle-eastern music soon filled the air as a young petite bellydancer girl emerges from behind the curtain. Standing at 5'2" with perky round breasts, wearing a silken garb, Barbelo is a captivating beauty with tan skin and long slightly wavy black hair. "I guess this is why it's 18 and up," Julie said. "Yeah," replied Joy, both her and her sister noting Barbelo to look a few years older then them. "Say hello to the audience, my dear," Lupo requests Barbelo. "It is nice to meet you all," Barbelo said in a Romanian accent while looking at Julie and Joy.
