The crew of Animalia Ambassadoria have been looking forward to Halloween for a while now. They had such a blast last year and Animalia had developed a lot more since then. The Carnival it had set up was proof of that. The haunted houses and midway games were enjoyable for everyone. While the group was too old for trick-or-treating, there were still costume parties to go to. However, there was a divergence to where they going.

"Why aren't you guys dressed up?" asked Jessica, who was wearing a skintight black catsuit. Not like an actual cat, what a thief would wear.
"Well, we're going to be going to that adult party at the Slaughterhouse," said Malice, "We were actually provided the costumes to wear and...they're not really something to be wearing in public."
"Wow, sounds like it'll be a fun time," said Jessica, "I wish I was double-dosed."
"I could fix that for you if you like," offered Malice.
"Thanks, but my parents are insisting I grow up naturally," said Jessica.
"Well, it's only a few years," said Simon, having returned from the police academy for Halloween.
"Say, how comes you're not dressed like Jessica Rabbit this year?" asked Sarah.
"Well, I wanted to match Roger's outfit," said Jessica, indicating Roger's ninja costume.
"Aren't ninjas the fundamental opposites of samurais?" asked Sarah.
"Well, a good warrior knows more than one fighting style," said Roger, "And Jessica is doing very well in the dojo."
"How well does that translate into cheerleading skills?" asked Travis.
"Better than you would think," said Jessica, "But don't think me and Roger are going to be doing martial arts stuff every Halloween. Once we're fully grown, we're going out as our Toon namesakes. By then, I'll definitely have the figure for it."

Sophie and Roland's costumes were a little harder to explain. Both of them were wearing mostly body paint, red for Roland and blue for Sophie. They were both wearing fake tails, bat wings, beaks, and horns, though Sophie's beak and horns were shorter. The main divergence was what they were wearing, with Sophie wearing a yellow kimono, a black wig, and a pair of fake Japanese swords. Roland was wearing a waistcloth, a chestplate, shoulder guards, a white wig, and an eyepatch.
"Ok, I get that Roland is Brooklyn from "Gargoyles", but when did Brooklyn ever look like that?" asked Abby.
"After the Timedance arc," said Roland. Abby just gave him a confused look. "In the comic continuation after the show, Brooklyn is sent through time for several years and only returns after several years for him has passed."
"And he also gets his mate, Katana, in the Edo period of Japan," said Sophie.
"Ok, well, that's rather elaborate," said Samson.
"You don't know the half of it," said Roland.
"We're also dressed up for a before/after comparison," said Sophie, "We'll be wearing the same costumes next year as Pterodactyls."
"Ah, that's why you went with beaked gargoyles," said Abby, "Would have been easier if you just went with Goliath and Demona."
"What? And make me the evil gargoyle?" asked Sophie mockingly.
"Well, if any non-Animalians deserves the best costume aware, it'd be you two," said Samson.
"Just wait until you see what we look like next year," said Roland smugly.
