If only real life could be like in movies and video games, but then again, we wouldn't have them would we? It was just such a scenario that the Stealth Division of the Rhino Guard was created for, and as such they were able to rescue Jeremy easily as well as neutralize "Queen Mary" and her brood.
Martial arts compromised a good portion of the training of the Rhino guard, and proved extra helpful in subduing subjects without killing them. If one of "Queen Mary's" brood was detected by the enhanced senses, they were quickly surprised and subdued with a sleeper hold.
It was also a good time to utilize new technology developed for such an occasion, such as a combination of flash bang grenades and chloroform. These overwhelmed the enhanced senses common in Animalians, and made them easier to subdue.

It wasn't long before "Queen Mary" and Jeremy were quickly located by the enhanced senses of the Rhino Guard, Stealth Division. Jeremy's only injury were a few bruised bones when he was reunited with Polly. "Queen Mary", on the other hand, was transferred with her brood to a comfortable holding cell while there was a big discussion on their fate.

Mr. Smithee was really nervous, because this was the second time he was called in to talk with Mr. M. Snow, Mr. A. Steele, and Mr. S. Tricklam. The last time he had been called there, it was to tell him that mythical creatures were not part of mad science.
"You actually gave us a valid argument with your plot point." said Mr. M..
"I did?" Mr. Smithee asked, not expecting that, "I mean, of course I did." he said, in the standard way of trying to take credit for it, then asked, "But just to compare notes, how did I do that?"
"You presented an excellent example of a closed-off/isolationist society resulting from the Animalia Virus' release." said Mr. A. "The only thing that downgraded our opinion of it was the use of the 'Secret Organization Conspiracy' plot point, despite it being a tad overused."
"Oh, indeed?" asked Mr. Smithee, surprised, though not much relieved.
"Yes," answered Mr. S., "You also made a good point of using the 'no such thing as a utopia' factoid, as well as gave us an opportunity to field test the Stealth Division of the Rhino Guard."
"Really?" asked Mr. Smithee, still surprised.
"Remember," finished Mr. M., "That ideas, like gems found in a riverbed or in the ground, aren't worth much until they're cut, polished, and refined. So before you send us another of your plot ideas, be sure to look it over, refine it, and tidy it up before you submit it. You also got to remember that trying to cure the Animalia Virus after it has run it's course is like trying to turn custard back into egg yolk."
"So what grade do I get for it?" asked Mr. Smithee, glad that they were running with it, and somewhat confused at the analogy Mr. M. used.
"You've gotten a B-, for use of a cliché plot hook." said Mr. A..
"We're not saying that your narrative decision was bad, but remember that variety is the spice of life." finished Mr. S..
"And remember that the name Mara already has an established place in Animalia, which is why we changed it to Mary." Informed Mr. M..
