You and Kate continue walking down the street when the sound of Kate’s phone rang out, she checks it before she pulls away.
“So sorry babe Erika needs my help with grocery shopping, let’s get together good and proper after college tomorrow, I have no plans” Kate calls out as she begins to hurry off down the street, leaving you standing there quiet.
You check the time and decide to make a trip to Chuck’s Eatery since Zoe was on shift, you wanted to be sure nothing funny was going on after Vikki told you a little about the diner that morning, you could smell the food as you got closer and you were soon standing in front of the building, you step up to the door and slip inside and sit down in the nearest seat to you.
You glance around at the waitresses walking around serving customers, so far nothing looked out of place, you relax a little thinking that Vikki might have been pulling your leg about the owner and the whole Hogsville thing, you knew it was all fake but you did wonder where Trevor and Butch both came from.
As you get lost in the thought a waitress approaches and snaps you out of the daydream you were having, you look up at her and see she is a skinny blonde that looks like she would be on a catwalk than in a diner.
“Can I take your order?” she asks.
“Coffee please” you reply, you weren’t hungry so getting something to drink would suffice instead.
“Sure thing” she says before she walks off.
As you sit and wait you catch sight of Zoe as she waited a table, she looked like she was doing a good job, you were worried over nothing so you finish you coffee and pay for it before you slip out without Zoe noticing you.
You get back onto the street and hurry off to catch the bus home, you were hoping nothing like this morning would happen again as you reach the bus stop you witness the bus pulling away, you grumble a little before you decide to walk, if you cut through the alleys you could shave off a good hour of walking.
The sun was going down when you arrive home you could hear Butch and Trevor in the back garden being loud and having a good time, you decide not to bother them and head inside, you could hear Grace and mum chatting in the kitchen as the smell of dinner hit your nostrils which made your stomach grumble.
You head upstairs and hear Lucy chatting to someone, possibly Tanya on the phone, you couldn’t hear Zoe so she must be still working her shift, you get into your room and wait for dinner to be ready.
Dinner was rather quiet with the occasional comment about the food and one mini conversation about Lucy at college, you decided against bringing up Vikki as you knew mum would flip out that you got a ride with her, you knew she’d go ape if she caught wind of the oral sex she performed on you.
Once finished you go back to your room and relax, you open the window to let the cool breeze blow through as you watch TV, you lose track of time and grow tired so you get into bed and within a few minutes you nod off to sleep.
