Flipping through one of the books, you see a colorful clown that catches your eye. "A clown would be fun" you think, "it is the circus after all." You decide on a whiteface clown with colorful accents in the book. "Step 1: pick up the white airbrush gun and apply white all over the face and neck with gentle pressure" the book says. You don't see the small print below that says "Warning, the makeup at this booth is alcohol based and very long wearing. Most makup will not come off for 7 to 10 days. Certain makeup also has other properties that may cause other changes if left on too long. As you apply the white makeup, it feels cold and wet on your face and a chill runs down your spine. Moments after you finish the white, it is immediately dry; you look in the mirror, and the skin on your face is pure white. Curious, you rub the makeup with your finger, and it doesn't budge. "Cool! I can run around all sweaty playing games and eat messy food without worrying about this rubbing off" you think. You have no idea what you are in for. Following the directions, you paint red circles on your nose and cheeks, blue and green triangles around your eyes, orange eyebrows bent at a crazy angle, and a red smile across your lips. Looking in the mirror you gasp, your face is unrecognizeable. You could walk around the carnival all day, and no one would know who you are. Haha, you chuckle, "I can go over and prank my little brother!" Suddenly you feel very silly and strange. You see a sign on the booth, "Clown makeup can cause behavioral change in the wearer. Remove makeup after 24 hours, or there may be irreversible side effects. "I better have my fun now, so I can take off this clown face before something happens" you think.
