Nat was in complete disbelief of her own actions. First, she actually went to the meeting, then she followed the whole thing down to the last sneeze, then she went along with a total stranger, and now she was currently getting her figure measured in a women's formalwear store.
'How the heck DID I get here?' Nat thought as the lady presented a few sample garments.
"Okay ladies, pants suit or skirt and blouse?" the clerk lady asked.
Nat opened her mouth to speak before Stacy interjected with "Skirt and blouse."
The tomboy wanted to lash out; she hated skirts AND blouses, but she could get herself to say anything as Stacy constantly interrupted her.
When all was said and done, Nat found herself with her hair tied in a bun, wearing a ruffled white blouse with a dark black pencil skirt.
"Now if you follow me, we can get your duties straightened out." said Stacy.
'Woah, now I have duties?! Who do these girls think they are?!' Nat mentally shouted as she submissively followed Stacy.
No matter what Nat tried to do, she couldn't bring it out of herself ro speak up against these stuck up snobs. They gave her papers to process, numbers from their cellphone lists, even clothes to wash! She just couldn't resist no matter what, saying "Yes ma'am." or "Soon Boss." to everything!
'What are they doing to me?' Nat thought as she got to work sorting papers...
