Near the middle of her third trimester, Diana is brought to the hospital by Erica to get an ultrasound of their unborn child. three months prior, the doctors and nurses delivered six children. Three appeared normal while the others were not as "classic." One baby boy had four arms, a baby girl with a third eye, and another boy born with two complete sets of genitals. Each was perfectly healthy otherwise despite their appearances, as part of the progress made since the last decade. During the ultrasound, while unable to determine the sex of the fetus, the physicians noticed what appeared to be twins when suddenly...
“Shoot....” Diana yelled.
“What’s wrong?” Erica asked.
“It’s coming... My water just broke...” Diana stuttered.
"This soon?" Erica said in disbelief. Diana groaned as she is loaded onto a wheel chair and quickly taken to a vacant room at the maternity ward. Machines beeped, paper gowns shuffled and physicians scrambled to prepare. Her vaginal tongue hung limp between her legs, often twitching with the contractions. Over the course of several hours her opening dilated, struggling to make room for the twins. Erica was dying of anticipation, scared for Diana but excited to finally meet their baby.
Another hour passed and the obstetrician told Diana that it was time to start pushing. She did, spending nearly thirty minutes pushing their baby out a few centimeters at a time. It flew out the moment the shoulders pushed through and the sound of two crying infants filled the room. Diana opened her eyes to see two beautiful and identical heads on a single body.
