"I could go for a bite." I said.
"Do you like ravioli?" he asked.
"Now that you mention it, I'm craving for some."
"Good, because that is what we're having for lunch."
He walked into the kitchen and tapped the table in some kind of drumming beat. Then some purple dust appeared and created a high chair. The seating was red with everything else being metallic. The little table that came with the high chair was quartz white with one of those bead mazes on the outer layer of the table. It wasn't one of those bead mazes that were in the doctors office that every child loved, it was just 4 beads on a strait line of metal. The old man sat me in it.
"Let me find some ravioli, just wait for me there." he said as he walked off into the hallway.
I sat there bored out of my life, nothing to do except move the beads. After 5 seconds of moving them, I got bored.
The man came back, but with cans of soup.
"I know what your thinking, but this is all I could find in the short time I left you here." he said as he was opening the soup. He poured one can into a white bowl and the other into a similar bowl, but it looked more like a mug.
He put the two bowls into the microwave and just pressed the only button on there "start". And it instantly cooked the two bowls. He grabbed one bowl and gave it to me along with a plastic spoon, then he grabbed his with a metal spoon.
"Now I'm not sure what your preference is, but do you want to be spoonfed or can you do it on your own?" he asked.
"I can do it on my own." I said, starting to eat the soup.
A few minutes had past, and I finally finished my soup. I laid the spoon down and sat there. Once again I was bored, but with a full stomach.
