It’s late on a weekend and you have nothing better to do. Mindlessly watching the television, one of those gimmicky infomercials comes on. “Nothing is more enjoyable than hypnotizing men and making them live out the fantasy’s you want. I’m Doctor Jacob Davey and my hypno pack will have you getting guys to do whatever or whomever you want. Check out my first client here. His name is Rob. Cute name for a cute guy.” Rob looks incredibly uncomfortable. “Is this live?” He asks to which Dr. Davey nods. “Don’t worry about that Rob, just follow my amulet.” He pulls out a bulky amulet with a large garnet stone in the middle. “Now follow it,” Dr. Davey says as he starts swinging it back and forth. Rob attempts to resist, but soon his head swings back and forth following it. A little dab of droll forming in the corner of his mouth. “Ah perfect! See everyone it’s just that easy!” Rob looks totally transfixed.
“Wonderful, now Rob tell me,” Dr. Davey pauses for dramatic effect. “Tell me. How do you feel about feet?” Rob scrunches up his face clearly showing that feet aren’t his thing. “Well Rob that’s a funny reaction to someone who can’t get enough of them.” You’re about to change the channel when Rob suddenly drops to his knees trying to pull off Dr. Davey’s shoes. You blink a little shocked, but set down the remote. “Ah isn’t that better Rob, hmm. Why don’t you help me out of those shoes?” Rob immediately unties them and pulls them off revealing that Dr. Davey wasn’t wearing any socks. Rob grabs hold of them and presses them up against his face. “Take a whiff and maybe even a taste?” Rob’s shorts tent as he inhales. You find yourself tenting slightly too watching such a weird display. “Rob should we show them what else this amulet can do?”
Rob nods and you just watch as Dr. Davey swings the amulet back and forth. “You are a sock, nothing but a sock. You live to be on my feet isn’t that right Rob?” Rob nods, you roll your eyes reaching for the remote again. “Rob socks can’t talk can they?” Rob goes to speak, but he acts like he has something caught in his throat. You’ve yet to notice that Rob’s skin is looking pale. “Rob, you’re a sock. In fact socks don’t have names. So your name is sock now. Or lefty?” Rob nods and grabs hold of Dr. Davey’s foot sucking on it. “Socks don’t have arms either do they?” You look up and watch mystified as Rob’s arms grow shorter. Your jaw drops when they pull up inside him. “Socks don’t have legs do they lefty?” You shake your head watching horrified as inch by inch Rob’s legs get shorter until all he’s doing is sitting there on the floor only held up because his mouth his wrapped around Dr. Davey’s left foot. “Socks are just socks aren’t they?” You gasp watching as his features melt away, his abs flat and gone, nipples and pecs erased. You turn away as his face starts to vanish. “Ah that’s much better,” Dr. Davey says as you turn back to the television to see him wiggling his foot inside of a perfect fit sock.
You never heard your roommate come home. “Remember folks, this all can be yours for three easy payments of $39.95.” A hand is placed on your shoulder. A amulet falls into your vision, the large garnet stone reflecting the image of your shocked face with your smiling roommate behind you.
