The three girls next to her looked extremely relaxed. One was a redhead with rose tinted sunglasses in a tie-dye shirt and worn jeans, the second was a black girl with her hair in dreadlocks in a sequin top and long brown shorts, and the last was blonde with green eyes, dressed as the definition of "flower child".
"Hey Elanor.. El... how ya doin'?" the red head blissfully asked.
"Fine. I mean not sure why I'm here with you ... not that that's bad... but hey, like I say, Que sera, sera." Elanor said.
"Que sera? Isn't that, like, the thing were you stuff a tortilla with cheese and stuff before you bake it?" the flower child asked.
"That's a Quesadilla." Elanor replied.
"Mmmmm... sounds good, huh Saria?" the black girl asked.
"Yeah, Shawna." the red head Saria replied.
The flower child introduced herself as Nazarene, or Naz for short.
Elanor greeted them and went back to her notes.
At lunch, Elanor found herself sitting right next to the three bizarrely calm girls.
The trio were pretty messy eaters, letting caesar dressing drip down their chins and laughing with full mouthes.
As Elanor wiped off her clothes, she spotted a brownie in Naz's hand.
"You want it?" Naz asked as she presented the treat to Elanor.
The redhead politely accepted it and took a big bite.
It was made with decent chocolate brownie mix, but something was... off.
Everything was blurring and getting hazy.
"W-What kind of b-brownie is THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS." Elanor utter as her pupils dilated.
