On the way to California, John, puzzled for what he just had gone through, took a loot at the new ring: solid, heavy and shiny; just like gold. That was something he hadn't thought about when he first met Jennifer. Could she actually morph into the element itself, or just look similar? One of the options was filling his thoughts with greed, while the other was more accurate to what he believed.
-Why would she steal anything if she could just... detach, one of her limbs, and make...

John snapped out of his own thought and gazed upon her ring finger.
-Oh, hello Jennifer. How's France?
-I'm still on the way. Stretching from US to Europe while avoiding boats takes a while.
-Wow, that is quite far. You can stretch really far for sure!
-This is nothing actually. Remember the Moon? Yeah, this is pretty easy actually. As for how far I can stretch, I am not exactly sure, but for what I remember, I can stretch infinitely.
The car started growling; clear sign of running out of fuel. John knew he could get to a gas station in minutes, but not before the car stops in the middle of the road. He started to whisper to himself "Dammed, you idiot!" while trying to figure out a way out of this...
There was one, though. One he figured out when he felt the cold hard touch of a gold ring in her forehead after adopting Rodin's The thinker posture.
-Hey... Jane. Do you think you can, you know, give me a hand here?
Just as he said "hand", the ring started glowing and reshaping the "J" into a tendril that shoot up over his head, coiled into itself and form a a blob. 5 more tendrils came out of the blob and thinned out into fingers; a hand was formed.
-Need one or two? I can give you as many as you want - rubbing his cheeks - but being serious, what do you need?
-Ha ha ha, good one. However, what I need now is something more than a hand actually. I ran out of fuel and the station is still far. If I leave the car alone and go to get some fuel, it might get stolen.
-I see... hold on. I have an idea!
