Juliet woke up early the next day and left for the grocery store. She wore a pair of faded skinny jeans, red converse shoes, and a grey My Chemical Romance shirt with a black jacket that fit her snugly. Her black hair was tied in a quick ponytail with black punk eyeliner.
Juliet put on earbuds and listened to her music as she walked down the sidewalk towards the grocery store, she admired the fall colored leaves as they fell from the trees and were carried through the wind with natural grace. This Friday was the Fall Dance, the only part of Fall that she didn't like, mainly because she never had anyone to go with and she was never asked. Still lost in her thoughts, Juliet took a shopping cart and started to get food and other essentials, her music tuned out the rest of the world.
After she had got everything and checked out she walked back home, her arms full with bags. The dark haired girl was almost home when she tripped, but before she could fall to the ground Juliet felt strong arms catching her. She looked up and her blue eyes were met with dreamy brown eyes, he helped her up and she got a better look at her savior: he was Asian and at least two inches taller than her with slightly messy black hair, he wore jeans, black boots, a white t-shirt under a leather jacket.
"You okay?" He asked, his voice seemed to cut through the cold air, making the girl feel warm.
"Y-yea, thanks." Juliet said, wishing her bags weren't there so she could move part of her hair from her face.
"I'm Justin by the way." He said,
"Oh, okay..." she said almost dreamily, still admiring him.
"Uh, What's your name?" He asked,
Juliet blushed and realized how weird she was acting,
"Oh, yea sorry. I'm Juliet." The girl responded.
"I was coming back from the grocery store...with groceries so, yea..." she continued but mentally slapped herself when she realized how stupid that sounded.
"Of course I was coming back with groceries, I mean what else would I get at the grocery store?...aaaand I'm going to stop talking now." She stammered.
Justin smiled, which made Juliet blush more,
"How about I give you a hand." He offered.
She nodded and gave him some bags, then the two headed to her house. Juliet's heart sped up as they walked, the girl caught herself occasionally glancing over at him and when she thought he would look back she snapped her head forward. Once they made it to their destination Justin helped her carry the bags in, this caused the raven haired girl's stomach to flutter.
"T-thanks for the help." Juliet said after they were finished,
"No problem, I guess I'll see you around." Justin responded.
Then she was alone again, the warmth his presence provided slowly cooled and her heartbeat returned to normal. "What a day" Juliet said to herself even though it was still morning, "what a guy" she thought.
