Isaac was disorientated. It looks like he is back in black void of his subconsciousness but Ilivir was no were in sight. Instead, the void was all red. The red of the morning sun.
A light shone before him and the next thing he knew, he was standing before a angel like creature.
It was just like the angels told in legends. She had angelic wings that glowed with radiance and only wore a white cloth. She had long flowing hair and her eyes shown compassion. She was also made of flesh from the material plane and not of clouds.
She then spoke to his soul.
"I am the deity of Purity. My name is Angela." The goddess like being spoke.
Isaac was awestruck. He didn't know what to say. "You're the deity that was supposed to be sealed within the ring? Why didn't you show up in the soul mirror?" Isaac asked. Not knowing what else to say, he decided to go straight to the point.
Angela gave a look of understanding. "I was shown in the mirror. But not in the way you suspect."
Isaac has so many question over what he saw. "What did Dark Isaac mean? How could he gain qualities from the souls the armor absorbs if he is in the halo?"
Angela showed a face of pity. "Dark Isaac is a confused combination of souls. In reality, he is not in the halo. Dark Isaac is the red half of the red and black soul in your head."
Isaac was confused. "What?"
"When the possessed armor tried to take you over, we were too weak at the time to repel it. So I did the next best thing. I tried to transfer your soul over to my soul gem to keep you safe. But something unexpected happened." Angela paused for a moment before continuing. "Half of your soul fell victim to the armor and stayed in your body. The problem is that a half of soul can't stand alone without decaying. So over the course of time, the half of the soul still in your body merged with the possessed armor's soul. And because the possessd armor soul adsorb small slivers of the souls it collects, it started gaining the characteristics of the souls you captured. A larger then normal portion of Azaviel was also adsorbed into the possessed armor's soul. In short, Dark Isaac is a combination of the possessed armor, a small portion of Azaviel, small slivers of the monsters you adsorbed, and a half of your soul. By the time you reached the witch's mansion, Dark Isaac became the confused combination of souls that you know him as today. But don't worry. The half of your soul in the armor is still intact, its just that mix of other souls filled in the void in order to make Dark Isaac a complete soul. The red half of Dark Isaac's soul is you and the black half is mainly the possessed armor's soul with parts of other souls mixed in. The only reason you and Dark Isaac were able to communicate is because you're technically still a part of each other. In addition, during your first battle with Dark Isaac you subconsciously summoned Ilivir's soul to your halo through your link to Dark Isaac." Angela explained.
Isaac was still confused. "But what about my half of the soul? You said so yourself that a half of soul will decay by itself."
Angela gave a smile of compassion. "You're right. For a long while, only a half of your soul and me occupied this soul gem. You see... over time, we merged together. You're not really talking to Angela. You're really talking to the deity part of yourself."
'What!" Isaac shouted.
"It's true. In order to save you from decaying, the deity of purity merged with you. That's why you saw a complete soul in the halo. Right now, you are unconscious. Allowing you to communicate to the Angela half of yourself."
Isaac was without words.
"Now before you wake up, I must show you the memories of Angela, the deity of Purity." The Angela memory said.
The red void and the memory of Angela disappeared, and in it's place was the memories of a child's bedroom. Isaac was currently in the body of a 8 year old girl.
Isaac got out of bed.
