I went about the rest of my day, lazing around, wondering if there was anyone who would be foolish enough to " pick a card ". I supposed that that was my only joy to life now. Suddenly from around the bushes, a hybrid tiger-human walked out. I guess at least I'm not a bunny-human, I thought. I came to him and asked, " Pick a card? " He looked me straight in the eye, his only response being, " Sure ". Well now at least I could have some fun testing these dumb cards out for once. I nodded saying, " Pick a card, any card, " and laid all 5 out for him to choose.
He decided on number 5 itself. Flipping it over, the card reveled a dove swooping up from the ground. All of a sudden, the change started.
I sat back and watched, contented as the tiger began to shrink. Feathers sprouted wings starting to take form, as the tiger tried to roar his fiery. But all that came out was a gental " chirp ".
In blind escape of his new form seeing the wolf in me, he flew off in a hurry deep into the jungle...
As I waited for someone or something else to come along, I went over the cards. Each one (obviously), had a different picture on them. Reducing by 3 years didn't really interest me. What would be even better, is to grow a pig snout instead.
Instantly the card in my paw changed to that of a hybrid growing a pig's snout. I realized then that I could decide and change what each card had on it. Awesome. Maybe this really wouldn't be that bad after all!
I had already decided that I liked "pig snout " so I moved on to the next card choosing: #2= skunk spray gland, #3= tuna fish( that one was in case I got hungry ), #4= Living and moving tree, #5= pocka-dots, all over.
Another rustle in the bushes signified the coming of, well, whatever. I smiled and said: " Pick a card. " ...
