During the prehistoric era, around 17 thousand years ago, an already barely visible star would permanently disappear from Earth's night-sky. A supernova occurred. It was from a star approximately as many light years away as to when that supernova happened. Back then, the big explosion of such a massive object exploding, caused shockwaves to travel around space. These shockwaves were so strong, that they bent everything that was once seen as reality. Except time. Time seemed to be the only thing unaffected by them. Reality was reshaped, only to have time go on. Because of this, the shockwaves didn't affect anything until it passed through it. And it just so happened that these waves traveled as rapidly as light.
The start of this occurrence was 17 thousand years ago, when humans were still walking Earth like they used to these days, hunting for meat, and gathering for fruits and nuts. As time progressed, one saw how the small communities of humans turned to towns, then cities, or countries. Society had formed, and these countries would fight against one another. Kingdoms came, kingdoms went. With that wars. They all caused a chain reaction that caused one to see how it now is.
On this present day, the human society is at its peak, I predict. Most countries are in peace, and bonds are being formed between them. Rules are intentionally obeyed and not violated on purpose. Conflicts are soothed using diplomacy, and people have been more tolerating towards each other than in all previous ages combined, starting from their existence.
Yes, if there were a God, he'd deem it almost perfect.
But what if, the day after, reality was changed? What if it was completely reshaped and reformed, to completely ruin what Earth now was? Or could it only become a better world?
