So the three kids go up the mountain
and then down the mountain,and
it appears to be just a ordinary mountain
being mined out by a American mining company.
If Andrew,Sandra and Daniel want to see the good stuff
they'll have to take Phillipe up on his offer.
So they meet him and he drives them out to a large hangar in the dessert
where a hundred or so other folk are gathered.
Phillipe takes them into the hngars office where he purchases four tickets, one
for himself and three for the kids.
Finally they walk down a long enclosed tunnel and find themselves boarding what appears to be a passenger
jetliner.
Hey a free trip to Bolivia or wherever the three kids think.
So they strap themselves in and wait for the jetliner to taxi down a runway.
However theres no roar of turboprops or
anything like that
just the quiet hum and the feeling they're moving.
Andrew slides open his sunscreen over the window and looks about for wings or some indication they're moving forward.
However to his horror he can see that Mexican mountain rapidly falling away as the craft they're aboard rapidly rises
and soon its not just the earth they're leaving, but the Earth itself.
They're in space and Earth is a little blue and green marble Andrew can stare at through the window.
Sandra and Daniel are likewise surprised, but when the TV's pop down from the ceiling and they see their pilot and co-pilot
is a little green man in a
Mexico Airways uniform and a gillman in a similar uniform
Daniel slumps over in a faint.
Phillipe beside them, and the other hundred Mexican passengers just read their
morning newspapers
s the gillman co-pilot welcomes everybody aboard and informs them
the weather is good,if a little damp in
Venus today and they should
expect to arrive at the
New Mexico Space Colony after a pleasant
8 hour flight through space.
At which point Sandra slumped over in a faint
and Dniel woke up again
