It was only the moment the shockwaves passed through the Earth that people saw the universe in front of them had also changed. Not completely though, as, if you were looking at the direction from whereto the shockwaves would still have to go, would remain the same for the time being.
The following stories are descriptions of people who'd seen the world change in that split second:
"Earth was still floating on the same position, in the same direction as it used to be in the cosmos. If one were to have a first glance at the night sky, also that wouldn't be much different. Earth was still rotating around a single moon, and a single sun would set on the horizon if it became day again. As I looked closer into the night sky, I could see slight changes in the positions the stars were in. Some had moved, others had completely disappeared. Even stranger was that the brightest stars I could see, I had never spotted before."
"From what I could see as I looked around me, the landscape had changed. It was as if I had stranded in a completely different place on Earth. One moment I walked on an open field, with the sound of cars moving over a highway in the distance. I then blinked once or twice, and the second moment I stood in the middle of a forest."
"I'd completely lost track of where I was. having something completely new in front of me, got me incredibly disoriented. There was nobody in sight. After walking around for what seemed like hours, I finally found... somebody. But... it wasn't what I'd ever seen before. It was as confused as I was, and he had an even more obvious reason to be. I saw not a fellow human in front of me, but a creature that distinguished human features from that of an animal. I dared not to talk to it, not knowing how it would react. I fled."
"I was completely clueless, and in a blind panic, a mere ten seconds after I saw a bright light. The one moment I was horseback riding, the other moment the horse I was riding was gone. Only moments after I realized how my lower body had changed into that of a horse."
"Only once before had I been envious of birds for their ability to fly to anywhere they wanted. I just didn't want this... I didn't want to pretty much become one."
The world had changed to house mythical creatures, but not only that. The world had become all that what was once in man's fantasy. People believed in Gods, and thus, they came. People had heard of stories of harpies, centaurs, dungeons and dragons. Name any creature man had ever thought of, and it suddenly appeared in this world. From common folklore to entire religions. Some may not be visible, or they'd left as soon as they'd arrived, but they definitely were there after the world changed.

In this branch the lives are described of those whose lives, just as the world they lived in, changed completely.
