Marina, Ashley and Carrie swam happily in the ocean. Marina was happy that her daughter's wouldn't be taken from her. As if some silly humans could come between her and her daughter's.
Ashley and Carrie were happy as well. They had always loved mermaids, now they were mermaids.
Marina loved her two beautiful little girls, but she also had a third child. A son named Patrick. However, Patrick had been taken by her soon to be Ex-husband for a guys day. While Ashley and Carrie would have gone with Her husband, her Son Patrick would have gone to live with her.
Her maternal instincts were telling her to go to her son.
Patrick was fishing with his father, or would have been in his father wasn't passed out drunk. They were fishing in a boat out on the ocean. Patrick was lonely, he wanted to go to the beach with his mother and sisters.
"I wish I could just swim away and live in the ocean." He said sadly.
"Well sweetie, that can be arranged." A familiar, tender voice said. The 5 year old boy looked over to see his sister's and a much younger and happier looking Marina. "Mommy?" Patrick asked in shock as Marina nodded. She explained to her son how she and his sisters were mermaids. This made Patrick feel sad at first. "What's wrong sweetie?" His mother asked, reaching out and gently stroking her youngest child's face. "If you and my sisters are mermaids, does that mean I have to go live with Dad?" He asked sadly. Marina reached out and pulled her son into her arms. "No, I'd never leave any of my children behind baby." Marina said as she and the girls sung. Patrick's clothes were all shredded as he grew a sea green tail in place of his legs.
Patrick was so happy. He wasn't only going to be able to stay with his mom and sisters, but they would live together in the sea as merpeople.
The two ten year old girls cooed softly at how adorable their little brother looked as a merman. This made Patrick blush. Marina giggled, ushering her children with her, the family of four dove off, sending the drunk man in the boat with a big splashy send off and shreaded child's clothes to explain to the police.
With all three of her children now merpeople with her, Marina was complete. She found where Emma and the other mermaids were. The group of mermaids cooed over how adorable little Patrick and his sisters were.
