Sabrina began walking around. What to buy, what to buy...
Everything looked surprisingly unique in its own way.
But near the middle section, a certain 'unique' creature cought her attention...
It was a tiny, all black, kitten.
{ It is kind of cute; but should I really get a cat when I have just moved? } she thought.
The kitten on the other hand (or I guess paw), just simply looked up, and stared at her. It had the biggest light-green eyes she had ever seen. ( no really these eyes would have melted your heart, well, hopefully not LiterarY )
When it blinked it almost seemed to say: " That me home with you! "
Sabrina couldn't bare it any longer! That kitten was just the most perfect animal ever! And would certainly make quite a beautiful cat as well.
As if almost by a spell, she practically ran to the front desk and bravely asked: " How much for that black kitten over there, sir? "
" 'probly be 'bout 12 dollars. "
" Oh, " she said, looking a bit sad. She had only brought 12 dollars. I mean yes, that was enough for the kitten, but some of the other items were very intregeing as well...
Seeing the look on her face, and wanting to not loss anymore customers, he quickly replied, " But to ya' I'll sell her for 'ten. "
" Oh. Thank you! That is very kind of you."
" Aw shucks, it no'n much, jus' tryin' to kep in buiznes'. " he answered, smiling and blushing slightly.
" I'll take her. " Sabrina said confedently.
The kitten, hearing this, almost seemed to... smile? { Can cats even smile? } she thought. Maybe it had something to do with her "witch power". Hmmm......
Well, whatever it was, it didn't really matter. In just a few moments, Sabrina was holding a carrier (with the kitten inside of course), and out the door.
Before she was even at her front door, she had decided on a name for her new pet: Simmer of moon light.
A bit long for such a small kitten, but she could always just call her "Shimmer" for short.
Whistling to herself, she concluded that that would be an excellent name for an elegant cat...
