You flush slightly and look away, realizing you have been staring at your new roommate. "Umm, this is all new to me. Magic, I mean. I never knew I could change into something else."
Dylan grins. "This is just the start! Since you are human, you can become anything you want. Being a satyr is best, but you can try being a minotaur, a nymph, a centaur, even a dragon!"
"So, could I change to be a different satyr?" You feel silly asking, but you didn't believe people could become part goat just a few hours ago.
"Oh, sure!" Dylan looks you over. "You're pretty nice looking already, but if you want to get bigger or change hair color, or anything else, there's no reason you couldn't."
You look over at Dylan, admiring his coppery hair and the sorta wild and dirty look. He isn't handsome at all, but something about him really appeals to you. "Um, what if I wanted to change to look like someone specific? Be a twin brother?"
He looks puzzled. "That could be more trouble. Not to do, but to get out of. I've heard of it being done, but if you are really identical, some kind of link sometimes forms between you and your twin, and then you really become brothers permanently."
"So, I guess you have to have permission to twin someone?"
Dylan shrugs. "Probably. It depends on who you wanted to twin. Granted, you wouldn't want to be my twin, but it would be no problem for you to be family. Todd comes from a stricter herd, and anyway, the really handsome satyrs don't like creating their own competition."
"You wouldn't mind having me become your twin?" You try to keep the hope out of your voice.
"Mind?" Dylan looks incredulous. "It would be amazing! Especially if you took it all the way to bonding." Then a delighted smile plays over his face. "You mean it, don't you?"
You nod, your face still red, but now grinning back. "All the way, as much as I can."
