As Jeff waited he could hear people walking down the hall. Past his room. About a minute after this, he realized it wasn't likely anyone would come in. He sighed internally, that was not a well throught out transformation.
He resigned himself to waiting. There wasn't much else to do. This is gonna be a long week.

Jeff flickered back to awareness to find he was in the air. Someone was holding him. Excited, he snapped awake. The clock had a day left on it. His btother, Greg, was skimming through Jeff, no doubt curious what the book was.
"I thought he said he didn't keep a journal." Greg said.
"Though he could've been lying, to keep me from knowing." Greg continued, "I get that. Private and all."
Jeff was astonished. Greg wasn't usually the one to take things in stride.
"I wonder if he'll notice any changes I make."
'Wait, what?' Jeff thought, 'Aren't these all my memories? Will changing these affect me?'
"Something simple. Something you have to be paying attention to notice."
'Well at least it won't be a massive change.'
"I know, I'll change the pronoun. He to she. Names too. What's a good female version of Jeff? How about Jen."
Jeff didn't even have time to think a reply before his brother got to work.
He did mental relapses trying to keep the information.
'My name is Jeff, I'm a guy. My name is Jeff, I'm a guy. 'My name is-'
The eraser struck the page.
'My name is-. My name. It's... My name... I'm a guy.'
The pencil marked.
'MY NAME. Jen. That's it. My name is Jen. I'm a guy. My name is Jen, I'm a guy. My name is Jen, I'm-'
The eraser strikes for round two.
'I'm-. My name's Jen, I'm a-. I'm-.'
Led scratches paper.
'I'm a girl. My name is Jen, I'm a girl. A girl.'
"There we go. Should be enough to subtlely fuck with him next time he reads."
'But... You, didn't change anything..?'
Greg sets Jen back down carefully, trying to make it look like he hadn't been there. Then he stalks out of the room, muttering to himself about how funny Jen's reaction will be.
Meanwhile, Jen was searching hard to try and piece together what Greg had changed. He said name and pronouns, but those seemed, right..? She had a lingering feeling about them, but suspected it was just her brain overthinking it.
She resolved heeself to figuring out when the changes revert. Maybe thst would make things more obvious, or possibly undo whatever Greg did.
And so, she waited.

Compared to the week long wait, the single day left felt life forever. She egarly awaited the changes.
And on cue, a shock ran down her spine.
Her cover bounced open and the pages unfurled, opening up like a large paper map.
But something felt wrong.
Jen's smooth legs unrolled and hit the ground.
She couldn't place it.
Her thin arms and danty hands rolled sideways.
Maybe it was the lack of 3 dimensions.
Her thin waist and torso unfolded backwards on the desk
Yeah, that was probably it.
Her head lay flat against the wall, long brown hair pooling underneath.
Then her head expanded, blowing up into a white bust. The black ink all across her body began to get drawn upwards, through the neck and into the head.
Skin tone returned to her face, revealing her sly smile, small nose, long eyelashes, and emerald eyes.
Her torso gained depth, waist expanding and brests inflating.
Her arms, her hands, they came next. Her hips, her legs, her feet. The skin tone swept over.
She gasped for air.
Yet she still couldn't place what was wrong.
"Well that didn't help at all!" Jen scolded herself.
