Rebecca decides it would be too much work to wake up mommy in the middle of the night.
“I go back to sleep all stinky,” said Rebecca.
Mark nodded his head while his nose was covered, he eventually uncovered it since he had to get used to stinky diapers anyways.
They both picked up their pacifiers and popped them back in their mouths.
They grabbed their stuffed animals and continued to suck contentedly on their pacifiers until they fell off to sleep again.
Suddenly, Mark woke up a couple of hours later.
He had to poop also.
He thought of his options while sucking his pacifier, he could cry for mommy, or just go poopoo and stay in a dirty diaper until mommy came and woke them up in the morning.
As he felt a load come out, he decided to just shrug it off and go back to sleep. It already reeked in their nursery, so why bother.
After he was done pooping, he felt at peace with his young toddler body and started drifting back to sleep while sucking his pacifier.
Before he fell, asleep, he turned around and saw Rebecca fast asleep with her pacifier still in her mouth. He smiled behind his pacifier and sucked in content as he saw her so peaceful.
‘She’s just as beautiful as she was when we were older,’ he thought.
He snuggled closer to her and let go of his stuffed animal, he placed an arm around her and started to drift off to sleep.
Rebecca smiled behind her pacifier while she was asleep.
