Nat was about to open the door back to the first floor and the top of the pillar when she thought of something. It was her childish distaste for transformation that got Chirp in this mess... She can worry about her body later.
She walked back up to the guardian door. With a firm tug, she spun the wheel.
She was hoping Chirp's panel would be selected, but instead, a panel with the picture of a toy on it was spun. The picture was too veuge for Nat to tell what kind of toy it is. She just knows it's a toy.
Nat watched in dismay as the guardian door opened up to a portal. A portal that Nat knows won't lead to Chirp's room.
"Wow. And I thought my wings spell got you to react. Somehow, you managed to transform your body more then me." Nat turned around to see "Ilivir" standing behind her.
"Sorry it took so long. Those dust bunnies doesn't know the definition of quitting." Sera said apologetically.
"What did you do to them?" Nat asked.
"Oh... It's a long story, I'll tell you later. Let's just go already. I'm starting to get tired of stone pillars." Sera said.
"You're not going. I'm going to save Chirp by myself." Nat stated.
"I don't know what happened here, but I said I'll protect you while I'm in control of this body and I mean it. Besides, I might find some creatures to test out my magic on." Sera retorted.
What is Ilivir talking about? Nat was too tired to argue. "Do what you want."
The two girls entered the first guardian gate.
...
The portal teleported them to a strange domain. They were in some kind of modern house... But of course, neither of them knows what a modern house is.
As they wandered around. Nat couldn't help but feel that this place feels a little... fake. The entire house was made of artificial material, like rubber, plastic and cloths. But Nat doesn't know what rubber and plastic is...
That was when they heard movement behind them.
They turned around to find...
