Yes, I live in a world that, well to describe it, fights many battles.
And yes, I am aware that that is very vague.
It’s not like we’re trying to start wars.
It’s not like we’re trying to get innocent suvillens killed.
It just happens. That’s how how our world is designed (meaning written) and currently, there isn’t a way to stop it.
So here is my story:
I was born on the planet; Suevaina. I am one of many who retain a...power, I guess you could say. All of these powers are exceedingly different. No two the same, sort of like snowflakes... But back to the subject.
Anyway, I have the power to direct and make lightning. Lighting bolts from the sky, earth lightning coming from the ground, lightning balls, you name it I’ve got it; as long as it has to do with electricity.
And then the Great War started.
And boom: my home planet was gone.
Destroyed by some kind of mega laser gun.
It was almost as if the Death Star, from Star Wars, had just decided to abliverate an entire planet; a lot like in Episode 4.
Actually, I think that’s what did it.
Not the Death Star, but something a lot like it.
And now the planet decintgrated.
And I’m trying to find out why...
Like I kind of said, it was just another day of my life.
Oh, by the way, my name is Casrar.
You can prenouns it however you want, if you can even say it.
I have to itmit; I do acausily say it wrong, but no one really notices. Or cares.
But again, just another normal day.
This time I was so close. I could almost feel the information under my finger tips. If there was one thing I wanted to get done before my death, it is: find out the reason why I was the only survivor of my planet, what blew it to pieces, and how to stop whatever evil was out there doing things like that.
Peering over the side of the balcony I was on, I over heard the people I was spying on talking. Am talking about something big. They were government officials after all. The snobs.
They tended to think that they have complete rein over everyone and everything.
But ha, I, a “simple civilian”, inteeded to foil their plans.
Sneaking around the corner, I found a path way leading twoards the building they were headed to.
Now, I , must, stay, perfectly, silent...
Annnnnnnd, go!
Quickly I ran across the open sidewalk, hoping to not be spotted.
Thankfully, luck seemed to be on my side today, as not even I could hear my own footsteps.
Looking again though the slim opening of my ninja-like-mask, I caught the government officials apparently sneaking around the actual building...
Wait a second.
They weren’t going in.
They were just watching, like I was.
No wonder they were so silent and out of sight!
I crept behind...
“ Hold it right there, mr. “
I froze. Gosh darn it.
Slowly putting my hands up, I turned around.
There, standing behind me, was one of the officials holding a hand-gun.
Yup, I was toast.
But before I could even think to pull my own weapon out, something zapped me in the back. A tazer, to be more precise.
Did they really think that that was going to stop me? If I were them, I would usoom that everyone had some type of power and it just might be lightning.
So I kept standing there, and absorbed the shock.
-Silence-
The official looked at me a bit frazzled.
“ Hit him again! “ he shouted.
* ZZZZZAP!! *
Still, I absorbed it.
By now the government officials were almost panicking. I guess I would too if suddenly one of my weapons didn’t appear to work.
* ZAP! ZAP!! *
Finally, the one who seemed to be in the lead whispered, “ How are you doing that? “
I stared at him, resisting the urge the smile: “ Let’s just say I’m really good. “ I answered, quietly taxking my
plasma-gun out of its holster.
“ But that’s impossible! We, we whipped your kind out! “ the official stammered.
I paused. So these were the guys who had blow up Suevaina.
Wow; for them, Big. Mistake.
