James stared as a team of horses emerged from the mist, pulling a huge stagecoach right out of an old movie! It rumbled to a stop, the horses snorting and coats steaming with sweat. A grizzled-looking old man in period costume looked back and then shouted at James. "Well, don; jus' stand there, ya' fool! Get in! Those Injun's ain't gonna pass up your scalp just 'cause you aren't on the danged stagecoach!"
Two men and a woman peered out of the side windows at him - they were also in costume. James had a suspicion that there was some sort of mistake here - had he wandered onto a movie set? Then he heard the thunder of hooves and what sounded like war cries coming from the direction the stagecoach had come. The driver looked back again and shouted. "Last chance! We gotta get away from them!"
