Edwin, inspecting the rose some more, found that it wasn't like anything he had ever seen before. Something about it felt strange..... yet mesmerizing.
The glittering petals soon had fixated his attention unnaturally, his laptop falling to the floor.
Edwin could've cared less, however, as all of his surroundings slowly drifted away. Inwardly, Edwin knew this was wrong, that the flower was doing something, as strange as that was.
Edwin's eyes slowly changed, his eyelashes becoming more noticeable and longer, eye shadow applying itself to them. The irises changed color, becoming jade green, as opposed to the dark brown they were before. His eye changed shape as well, taking on a more feminine look.
Edwin snapped back to reality, momentarily, setting down the rose from where he had picked it up.
"D-Did that just happen?" He asked himself, looking into a nearby mirror.
His fears were confirmed as he gazed into feminine eyes that were not his own. He blinked, and the foreign eyes blinked as well.
Edwin began panicking, unsure of what would happen next. "Oh god...."
Unknown to him, of course, other changes were occuring.
