Edwin put down the rose, although he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off about it.
In fact, he had started to get the same feeling around all the other artifacts as well in this shop.
Watches, mirrors, necklaces, masks, bracelets, vials, everything around the young Latino was giving him a strange feeling.
"This shop...." Edwin mused, remembering the otherworldly glow of the rose. "It couldn't be magic, right?"
"Indeed it is!" A cheerful voice sounded behind Edwin. Yelping, Edwin whirled around, nearly dropping the laptop he was toting around.
"Who are you, and why did you scare me like that?" He asked, heart pounding.
The voice belonged to an attractive young girl, no older than 16, blonde, curvy, yet athletic as well.
"Sorry!" She said, a small frown on her face. "I didn't mean to scare you!"
"Well, ya did." Edwin huffed.
