"Speaking of Mika I'm surprised she isn't with,"Kellie commented as she turned onto a side street.
Claudia frowned before answering. "Shes meeting up with her brother Shiro," she said glumly.
Katie and Kellie gave Claudia a look of shock. "I don't remember Mika having a brother," they said.
Claudia looked out the window and sighed sadly. "Yeah her older brother Shiro," she said sadly. "He's 20 and in college. When he found out about Mika he came home. He's not thrilled his kid sister is a bisexual and is trying to talk her into breaking it off and moving back."
"Sorry Claudia," they said sadly.
Claudia shrugged as she looked out the window. "It sucks alot," she moaned. "Shiro is almost as closed minded as his parents. He's all about tradition this and culture that. He doesn't care about Mika just stupid family honor. Ugh makes me so mad."
"Im so sorry Claud," Katie said. "I wish I could help."
Claudia shifted her eyes slightly as she gazed at Katie. "Maybe you can,"
Katie gave Claudia a look of alam as her hand covered the ring. "I don't know Claudia it could be dangerous. What if I mess things up? What if it doesn't work? What if Mika gets mad about me useing the ring on her family."
"There's something else too," Kellie said as she reached a stop sign. "If it does work Mika heads home to her family and leaves your house."
Claudia paused. She had wanted to help her girlfriend out so bad thatshe hadn't considered everything. If it did work Mika would leave and waking up to her was a dream come true. Mika also was helping her father with this.
While Claudia's father was accepting of his daughter it was a sttuggle. He still wasn't too sure about the whole bisexuality thing. He loved his daughyer and accepted her for who she was but didn't quite understand how someone could like men and women. Mika was helping Claudia's dad adjust. She helped show her father that it wasn't weird. The two of them not only cared about eachother but were a good influence on ine another. Plus Tom really liked Mika, more than any boyfriend she had ever brought home.
Claudia stared out thw window again to think. If she tried to help Mika with the ring, chances were she would move back home. If she went home she wondered how long before her parents talked her out of their relationship. If she left things alone Mika would stay but be incredibly sad about her family abandoning her. Claudia sighed as she made her choice.
