Sera is watching the floating needle's movements. It may be fast, but she should be able to dodge it in case it goes after her next.
She can easily defeat this monster if she wanted to. But should she waste her new found minions on this weakling?
---
During the time when Sera was alone with the dust bunnies...
---
The setting was perfect for a climatic battle.
Fire burning in the background: Check.
A battle up on a high place: Check.
A swarm of enemies outnumbering the hero: Check.
And Sera is by no means defenseless.
She was currently flying up alongside the pillar and turning whatever comes near her into frogs. But boy, are these things relentless. The dust bunnies are even jumping off the pillar just so they can get to Sera. But even though Sera was currently a little slow and top heavy, she was able to dodge just fine, allowing the suicidal bunnies to fall to their fiery deaths.
These things are eager to jump to their death just to take a bite off of her. Even in frog form. Sera frowns upon that. What a waste to precious life.
That was when she got an idea. She lost all her belonging when Isaac somehow absorbed her body. Time a restock.
She chanted a complicated set of words as she prepared her next spell. As soon as she casted it, all the currently living bunnies (Including the ones on fire or currently turned into a frog) into glass marbles. Using her magic, she teleported the minion marbles to a metal bag she just created with her armor. It seems the possessed armor obeys her will now.
Satisfied that nothing is currently chasing her, she casted a powerful wind spell that put out the raging fire on the bottom of the floor. It's best to put out the burning dust in case some of it is still alive. Sera watched as Ash and Dust both living and non-living were mixed up in the waging tornado. Eventualy, the bad of possibly living dust setled down as if Isaac and Nat hadn't disturbed their sleep at all. Sera likes transforming things, but she doesn't like killing them. Death just means less test subjects for Sera.
Satisfied the living dust has been calmed down, she flew up to the top of the pillar to join the others, leaving the darkened and possibly empty floor behind.
---
Sera patted her metal purse. Good thing she got an chance to restock on minion marbles. She made a point to place a obedience spell on the transformed marbles so they will obey her every command. Perhaps it's a good idea to use one now...
Even if the dust bunny doesn't defeat the needle, then at least it will be transformed into a living stuffed bunny. If that happens, Sera will just modify the obedience spell and make Nat it's new master. Hopefully, having a transformed stuffed toy creature as her second pet will make Nat feel better about being transformed.
The girl shows promise in magic using and Sera hates to see that potential go to waste. She plans on asking Nat to be her apprentice later. Her use of basic elemental magic is good, but she needs to know a greater variety of spells. Sera can't wait to teach Nat all the transformation spell she knows.
Nat feels like a little sister to Sera. It doesn't matter if she is a cloud girl, she's a magic user like Sera and Sera's willing to offer to help to a fellow witch in training.
But the offer can wait till later. They're in the middle of a battle right now.
She continued watching and memorizing the floating needle's movements...
There's no telling what it might do next. What if stuffed toys are not the only thing the needle can transform people into. It might be able to turn them into latex dolls, stuffed animals, toy tops, clown toys, toy cars, ect.
There is no telling what their foe is capable of. And they still hadn't have the chance to explore the entire doll house yet. What if the house itself is alive? Or what if there is a creature out there who is bigger then the multi-floored house.
Sera readied herself for battle. No mater what this sowing needle tries to do, she will be ready.
