While most of the new businesses interested in Animalia were primarily involved in food or clothing or care, that wasn't the only thing that was prompting new business opportunities. There were other things that were hoping to "strike it rich" by "feeding Animalia", so to speak.
Computer companies, such as Apple and Microsoft, began developing newer computers and keyboards that had not only bigger keys for the bigger fingers of many Animalians, but were also reinforced to handle their greater strength. What was also developed was larger mobile phones and tablets with extra-reinforced screens that wouldn't break as easily as those for humans.
Another thing that was developed was furniture that could withstand large amounts of force as well as having more adaptations for larger-handed Animalians. This was requested due to converted Animalians accidently ripping the drawers out of filing cabinets, for example.
Another thing that was developed was special cars for Animalians that had different anatomy than humans. This was inspired by many converted Animalians complaining about their favorite cars not being comfortable, too small, etc.. Volkswagen immediately began developing newer models that included features such as tail gaps (for Animalians with larger, thicker tails), but Chevrolet developed a program that made it easier to place orders for customizable, affordable cars that could be ordered and customized via the internet, and picked up at the dealership when it was finished.
A really surprising announcement was the announcement from UNLV of the building of the coed Animalian fraternity/sorority building for Pi Etta Tau. Although the construction wouldn't officially start until the start of summer vacation, it was still looked forward to by many Animalians planning to go to college. The start of the fall semester would also be the time when Pi Etta Tau would officially receive their charter, but due to the infectious nature of the virus, a lot of common "college rituals" that would otherwise spread the virus were banned in the new building. But what really mattered was that Animalians would finally get to spend time with their bondmates.

Another surprising thing was a visit from a popular Japanese TV company. Though it wasn't too surprising when they showed what they created. Apparently, in the aftermath of Heather's attack, Japan decided to explore possible consequences of the Animalia Virus falling into the "wrong hands". When they learned about the Green Glacier Adventure Clan, they put them into what they already had down, tidied it up, and came up with a new television show.
The result was eight young turtle Animalians who were part of an organization that was part spy agency, part ninja clan in a cyberpunk universe fighting against a Deus Ex-style Illuminati criminal organization trying to use "financial as well as political pressure" combined with Animalian super soldiers to take over the world. Fortunately for the world, these eight young turtle Animalians used a combination of martial arts, ingenuity, and sheer dumb luck to foil the plan and save the day, as well as redeem any super soldiers created. They also worked hard to stay away from common stereotypes/overused plot points, such as the "overly lustful kunoichi" trope and the "America Saves the World" plot point. After some discussion with Clara and Animalia's Council, they were allowed to show their creation as long as they didn't portray Animalians in a negative way.

But what was the fastest growing business in Animalia was the insurance business, specifically newly converted Animalians accidently damaging or destroying property due to increased strength. This ranged from ripping doors off hinges to breaking through walls. Fortunately, many "established" insurance companies managed to sense the opportunity and immediately drafted new policies for such events. Also what was born from such policies were commercials for said policies, but these wouldn't be shown until the 2018 super bowl.
