Sophia went through shelf after shelf, confident she could find the thing she needed. She was amazed at all the magic things that were around her.
Perfumes, mirrors, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and hair accessories, she could hardly believe that all these things were magic.
"Well, I can sure believe this thing isn't magic." Sophia said, picking up some cat nip.
It was pretty old and worn out, but she had no doubt that a cat would love it. Too bad she didn't have a cat, though.
She was dwelling on it some more, until she felt something strange go over her. She dismissed it as just her imagining things.
"Actually, that little thing is magic." A voice said, coming from behind her, pinching her rear.
Sophia yelped, then whirled around and came face to face with a teenage boy, no younger than herself.
"Where do you get off doing stuff like that to people?" She said, a furious look on her face.
The boy shrugged. "As I was saying, that thing is magic. In fact, it's one of our most popular items. You should feel the effects soon enough."
