A shingle dangled outside the large building depicting a blue fiddle, Danor could see the the windows glowing warmly from the candlelight within. There was another sign on the side of the door that read "NO ORCS" with a painted silhouette of a tusked face and a giant red X across it. Danor entered to find a an assortment of humans, dwarfs and halflings, all dressed neatly, and chattering away. He approached the halfling tending the bar.
"A warm meal good sir" he requested "And a room for the night"
"That'll be eight silver for the meal," responded the bartender. "And two gold for the room"
Danor sighed, six silver for dinner would have been cheap back when he was living at Cloudbuck manor but it was fairly steep for a man on a budget. A rumbling in his stomach swayed his decision as he slid the coins across the counter. The bartender informed Danor which room upstairs was his and told him to take a seat while they prepared his meal. He plopped down at a small empty table in the corner. A young halfling popped up at his side and offered to take his bag to his room for him, but slumped off when Danor preferred to keep his possessions about him for now. Danor was observing the ambiance and enjoying the gnetle strumming of the lute player when an older rotund gentleman came striding through the tavern doors and ordered a drink. After scanning the room he approached Danor in the corner.
"Hello stranger, mind if I join you?" he asked cheerily
"Go ahead," Danor responded "I could use some company while I eat"
"The name is Elias Booker, and by your travel pack I take it you just arrived in town?" the man questioned. "Or perhaps are about to leave?"
Danor introduced himself and gave him a brief summary of his situation as the halfling brought over a plate containing a hunk of bread with some meat and potatoes. He started eating slowly but didn't realize how hungry he really was and began messily devouring the meal.
"Hmm a book keeper ya say" Elias continued while Danor took ravenous bites from the meat. "I hear the money lenders on the north side of town are looking for a new clerk, perhaps try yar luck there"
"Thanks I might just do that in the morning," Danor yawned as he picked at the last few crumbs on his plate "I'm going to head up stairs before I pass out on the table, thanks for the advice"
"No problem my boy it was a pleasant chat," Elias said as he stood up before finding another drinking companion "Good night, and good luck to ya"
After waving him off Danor pushed against the table to move back his chair but somehow ended up shoving the table forward. Shrugging his shoulders he stood up and began plodding his way to his room. He noticed his footsteps were considerably weightier and louder than normal and figured the effects of the strength potion must have been coming through. He sleepily counted out the doors until he found his room. After latching the door, removed his clothes, placed away his pack and collapsed on the bed, instantly beginning to snore loudly.

Danor's dreams of meat and ale were interrupted when he rolled out of bed and smacked the floor with a thud. After a brief struggle with the blanket he managed to stand up and brush himself off. The dawn breaking outside his window cast a new light on his bare body. He felt absolutely great, better than he had in years. Though he still possessed a portly belly it had become hard and packed. His pale skin had also taken on a healthy tan. The custom tailored linen undergarments he slept in also felt slightly tighter, which at first he attributed to his newly developed muscle, but upon further inspection discovered his previously modest genitalia had plumped to a respectable average size. Danor couldn't help but smile and conclude the potion was worth every coin.
Danor stretched his arms and decided on a course of action for the day.
