Filled with a testosterone-driven new confidence, Adam hopped off the bed and swaggered into the bathroom. He took his dad's glasses off and set them on the sink countertop.
"Wow," he said as he looked around, "Dad really is blind."
Adam squinted through his blurry vision and turned the shower's faucets, fiddling with them until the water felt perfect and then stepped into the warm stream. Adam scrubbed his thick, hairy body down with soap and lathered shampoo onto his receding brown hair. Once he was finished, he stepped out and dried himself, not bothering to wrap the towel around his waist. He pulled up his dad's luggage onto the bed, marveling at how much easier it was to move the heavy suitcases with his father's strength, and started digging through them. He eventually found something to his liking among his dad's bland fashion choices and got dressed.
Adam stared into the mirror, if he gets back to his right body he's going to help his dad pick out clothes more often. Dressed in a bright, red button down shirt tucked into a pair of jeans and a pair of brown loafers, Adam looked fantastic. He looked bulky, but not fat, and his day-old stubble gave him a rather attractive five-o'clock shadow. Adam sifted through his dad's things again, this time looking for something specific: his dad's favorite cologne. He was starting to think that maybe his dad had left it at home when he spotted the sleek black bottle. He spritzed it onto himself with joy. He would've never admitted as 16 year old Adam, but his dad's cologne was one of his favorite smells. Its scent was just so mature and compelling, even if his dad used too much sometimes. Adam looked himself down one more time in the mirror, more than satisfied with how nicely he'd cleaned up; he grabbed his father's keys, wallet and phone and headed out into the hallway.
He rode down the elevator, giddy with anticipation at exploring the city as a grown man. He was so excited he had to stop himself from full on running through the hotel lobby and out into the bustling streets.
