Being a college student, Lisa's curiosity got the best of her.
"I wonder what the heck this weird thing does anyways?" she questioned.
Lisa looked around her room as she stood there alone ... and bored. She decided to see what this weird thing did by pressing one of the buttons.
What's the worst that could happen, she thought.
Lisa, with the tip obliviously pointing at her, pressed the button with the minus on it. She was then blinded by a bright white light. When the light went away and she could see again, she gasped at the fact that everything in her room was giant!!
But everything in her room wasn't giant ... she was small!
"Oh no, I shrunk myself!!!" Lisa exclaimed.
Realizing that the machine was the cause of her sudden size reduction, Lisa went over to where it had fell on the floor by her bed and examined it more closely.
Lisa came to the conclusion that the small cannon was the aimer of the device. She also figured the minus button shrinks whatever it was aimed at, as that was what she pressed. Therefore, she concluded that the button with the plus must make things bigger.
I have to use the plus button on myself and get back to normal, she thought.
Lisa realized that was going to be a problem. The buttons were on top of the remote-sized device and, comparing herself to the objects around her, Lisa guessed she was maybe an inch tall - nowhere near big enough to reach the buttons!
Looking around in a frantic, Lisa had an idea. Her shoes were sitting next to the machine where she took them off before opening the package, so they were about the same size. She managed to climb up one of the laces to the top of the shoe and was able to clear the jump to the top of the size-machine. She approached the enlarging button, which was as big as her. Lisa was going to have to put all her weight into it, which was not a lot, as she was a cute, petite girl when she wasn't ant size.
Then it hit her - even if she was able to get the button to move, the ray wouldn't be pointing at her and would be no good. She was stuck tiny unless she could get some help.
