All kids tend to wear themselves out when bathing and Sara was no exception. She spat out her pacifier (which smacked Kelly in the face) and let out a loud yawn in Kelly's face. Kelly moaned out in pain and Sara let out a soft giggle. She then started to curl up, still holding Kelly in her hand.
"Night-Night, " Sara moaned and soon was fast asleep.
Kelly took a minute to make sure Sara was asleep. When it was clear that she was asleep, Kelly struggled to get free. But the 2-year old's grip was too much for her. She waited and waited but nothing changed. Kelly couldn't see the clock so she couldn't tell if a minute or an hour had passed.
"This is truly pathetic," Kelly said. "I can't do anything but sit here and hope for a miracle."
Kelly then yawned a little. Even though she only woke up about 30 minutes ago, all her recent exploits had tired her out.
Eventually Kelly too fell asleep.
Some time had passed and Kelly woke up. She groggily looked around wondering if it had all been a dream. Sara was nowhere to be found. Looking around everything seemed different. Of course, her eyes hadn't fully cleared up yet.
Where am I? thought Kelly.
