As they drove down the road out of town, they came past a fenced area. "Ohh that must be an abandoned airstrip", remarked Matt and steered Jacob, who was now a motorcycle, towards its entrance. The fence already had large holes so he drove through one of the particularly large ones next to the gates. The runway partly covered in a thin layer of sand, but still seemed OK. Driving into one of the hangars they saw that the roof already had holes. It's a wonder it hasn't collapsed yet.
Jacob patiently asked, "So can you turn me back now?". Matt was careful to lock his friend out of the controls when he turned him into his companion motorcycle. "Patience my friend", he answered as he was fiddling with the controls of Jacob's computer. Of course he could also do this remotely, but somehow doing it directly seemed more fun.
Gradually Jacob began to change into a more humanoid form. Slowly his tank and seat widened and changed to his back, turning from smooth metal and leather to cloth. The border between the tank and the seat became a sort of belt. Then his head changed. The lights and controlls all retreated into one ball, which gradually reformed as a helmet. From it's front a breathing mask formed with a hose connected back to his body where a set of breast pockets and a jacket started to form. His arms and legs were still holding onto the wheels even as they were gradually becoming more and more natural and cloth like. In the last part, as the rest of his body was nearly fully human, the wheels started to recede and give way to gloved hands and booted feet.
Matt climbed off his friends back and addressed him, "Hi there, sexy". Jacob answered by asking, "Does that mean I may fly you then"?
Matt nodded and looked for a space he could taxi around and to the runway, before getting down on his hands and knees and changing. Jacob followed him to a place where he could get a good view of the transformation. Then Matt gave the mental command to his computer, and a few moments later he was expanding in size, loosing features and gaining new ones until he became a full jet fighter.
