"But why!" you exclaim, feeling terror surge through your heart.
One of the five girls just smiled.
"It makes sense. A week has passed and you're still scared. And we think it's kinda funny."
You were right all along, it seems. Girls are scary creatures! You begin to panic, knowing you SHOULD have done better to hide from them, to avoid them, but now it was too late. They had made you one of their number with their weird house spell.
"Maybe what Tina needs is to think of herself as a girl!" pipes up one of them, to your horror. Hearing the pronoun 'her' even apply to you causes your insides to feel frozen.
The other four nod sagely, making you cower even further. They were up to something worse.
"Well, Tina, we made up our mind. You're going to have to stay that way until you're no longer scared."
Fat chance, you think to yourself. You're petrified.
"Of course..." chimed in the oldest girl, "... by the time that happens, you might become more used to being a girl."
You stare at her increduously.
"No way!" you say, "I don't want to be a girl!"
The younger one who made the suggestion sealing your fate giggled.
"Well, that's the thing Tina... If you don't hurry up and get over it, your girl mind is going to take over. Then it'll be irreversible and you'll be Tina for the rest of your life."
Cold sweat. You didn't think it was possible for you to feel more terrified, but it was possible. You feel like a living block of ice.
"Not that it'd be such a bad thing!" laughed one of the girls, "I think Tina'd be great to have around. Hey Tina, if you fail... we'll still be your friend. I promise to be your friend and let you borrow some of my toys, and I'll be happy to do up your hair and show you my unicorn toy collection!"
You were struck dumb. That was your future if you didn't get over your fear -- and quick. Of course, the idea that these girls liked the idea you'd be a girl just like them forever... makes you even more scared.
"I'm doomed..." you whimper to yourself.
