Note: I'm back!
To be perfectly honest, I ended up taking a unintentional break because it was getting harder and harder to come up with chapters and ideas for this arc. There are times when I find myself considering dropping the basement plot completely and diverging into a different story line. I've been desperately wanting to go back to writing for the cloud kingdom part of the story. But I don't want to drop the basement arc after it has gotten so far... but it looks like I ran into writer's block.
But after reading some chapters from anonymous writers for both this story line and for other story lines... I found myself willing to give the basement storyline another shot.
A special thanks goes to the writers who has been writing their own chapters in my two week long absence. I read and enjoyed all of them. Even the ones that are not for this storyline.
Any continued support for this storyline is appreciated. I work best bouncing off of other writers. It just feels easier taking turns adding a chapter. When I do diverge from a chapter, I try my best to integrate the ideas from the chapters left behind in some shape or form. One of my goals is to make sure every writer's ideas for this story count in some way. No ideas left behind. Even if there is a divergence, I'll try to make it work for the current storyline.
Sadly, I'm probably going to take a break for awhile. I know i just came back, but I'm honestly burned out when it comes to this storyline. It's just getting really hard to come up with interesting ideas for the current storyline. I might come back to write for this storyline someday or if there seems to be any interest. But as it stands now, if I do come back, it'll most likely be for a different storyline. Don't worry, if I do start a new storyline, I'll make a point to carry over some ideas introduced in this storyline.
Feel free to add on to this storyline if it looks interesting. It doesn't really mater which chapter is added on to.
Anyways, please enjoy the next couple of chapters. They might be my last ones for awhile... At least for this storyline anyways.

...still nothing. but that didn't stop the tension from being so high.
In the brief moments of inactivity, Sera thought about Nat's magic seal. Her magic seal is special. It prevents any magic from effecting her and put what ever magic already afflicting her at a standstill. The problem is that Sera can't cast anymore main on her except for the spell that breaks the seal. In other words, Nat is almost completely immune to magic so as long as Sera's magic seal remains in place...maybe. It depends on the kind of magic afflicting Nat. But most magic shouldn't affect Nat so as long as Sera's magic seal remains in place.
But Sera was taken out of her thoughts when a disembodied voice was laughing overhead. Whatever i was, it wasn't the spirit of the catacombs.
"HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!You think that's it!You think that lowly adventurer was the guardian of this domain?! That's hysterical!" The male voice boomed.
'Who are you!" Sera demanded.
The plastic stone walls shoo against the voice's hefty laugh. "I'm the very domain you're in right now. I'm the toy box, and you are the new toys! Wondered why this domain was represented by ay symbol? Well now you know! I"M the very domain your standing in! Now to get you situated with your new lives as toys."
Before Sera could respond,the plastic walls and floor shipped around. The very landscape changed around them.
The next thing they knew, they were standing in some kind of maze. All the walls are plastic, made to look like stone walls.
"Let's have a little fun! Scattered throughout this rat's maze is a bunch of games designed to transform you into toys fit for this domain!"
"Like that will happen again!" Nat shouted.
So they ran into the maze determine to beat the guardian!
