Just as John finished up the spiceless fish, there was a knock on the wood frame of Lucy’s hut.
A voice called out quietly,
“Hello?”
“Now what...” Lucy muttered to herself, “Can’t a woman get any peace and qu— oh!”
Abruptly her speech was cut off.
John rose from his seat quickly, and turned around to see just who was at the door.
It was Celia!
“My! What a surprise!” Lucy exclaimed.
“I... I wanted to know if I might be able to join you... for supper.” Celia replied meekly.
“Umm...”
Lucy looked back at me.
I thought for a good 5 seconds.
Then I nodded.
“... Yes. Of course.” Lucy finished.
“Thank you,” Celia eyed me, then sat down on the floor.
... ... ... ... ...
“I came to apologize.” Celia finally said and glanced downwards.

“That’s okay,” was all I could manage. It was currently very hard to communicate, do to the fact that my own throat was trying to choke me.
I still wasn’t sure that it really was OK, but for real it was just best to forget the manner all together.
Sitting back down, I prepared to eat my next course of meal.
“... But there is something that I would like,” Celia abruptly cut in,
“I want you to...”
