Near the back, you saw the perfect suit for you:
the costume of a butterfly.
‘Not only are butterflies beautiful,’ you think, ‘They can also fly!’
Butterflies have always been your all time favorite. Nothing measures up to simple, yet complex.
Going over to it, you quickly started taking your clothing off, then began putting it on.
The wings seemed to be made of a very thin fabric, making you wonder what would happen if you pressed to hard on it. Surly it was more sturdy than it looked?
Glancing about, you spotted a mirror next to a stalagmite.
Walking over on tiptoes, you pondered on how handsome (for a boy) you looked. So what if that was what girls did?
Then you noticed something very odd. The seams on the costume were fading. The zipper vanished.
The wings began it feel apart of you.
Yet even with all this, you still felt very calm about the whole matter.
You somehow knew you were transforming into a full out butterfly.
The second and third pair of legs attached themselves to you, literally.
Then last of all, you started to shrink, all the way down to the size of a large earaser.
In only a few, but seemingly long, minutes you had turned into a
Monarch butterfly, and a very pretty one at that.
Your troubles faded into the background, as you fluttered up and out of the hole.
‘Now,’ you thought, just realizing that your thoughts were still human, ‘To search for the perfect flower to lay my eggs on...
wait, I’m a girl?!’ ...
