The turtle costume seemed the way to go. No harm would come to you with a protective shell, right?
Walking over to the rack, you reflected on how it came of no surprise to you that you would choose the turtle suit.
Even though these were just costumes, you still felt slow and usually heavy all the time.
Maybe a turtle was your spirit animal...
Never the less, you had decided on a turtle because you considered them to be your most favorite creature in all the animal kingdom. Who couldn’t resist how cool and chilled out turtles and tortiouses acted?
Upon finally reaching the costume, and trying to forget how many other choices you have, you began to slip it on, then zip it up.
The turtle suit fit almost perfectly, aside from having an awkward oversized shell hanging off the back of you.
When you were done, you went to look at yourself in a nearby pool of water. Thankfully the water was clear, making that easy to do.
As you stated at the water, you suddenly realized it was getting closer... and closer...
The whole cave system seemed to be getting bigger. But how was that possible, unless you were... uh, oh.
You were shrinking, down to the size of an actual turtle. Soon it became hard to hold all the weights of your once, only fabric shell. The extra load forced you on to all fours, as your arms now moved to your sides.
The small tail in back started to wave around, seeingly on its own, but really you knew you were the one moving it. The tail was now apart of you.
You had expected it to feel weird and unrealistic, but it was just like anouther arm (without fingers of course).
...
In just about two minutes you had been transformed into a real live turtle, and there seemed to be no way out of the suit now. The zipper had popped out of existence long ago, and you couldn’t tell the difference between your arms and the costume sleeves anymore.
Sadly, you stared at you new reflection, regrettably.
You sighed, wondering what would happen next...
