Before Nat could hear so much as a word, the girl bolted out of the locker room and ran down the hall, rounding the corner and disappearing.
"The shy ones always run off." Jenny said with a smile.
"But that wasn't... I did actually... I was just...." Nat stammered.
"Come on Daisy, just relax, you're super gorgeous. They'd be crazy to pass you up." Jenny consoled her.
"Daisy" was not amused by this, at all.
' I guess I'm nuts for not thinking a smart way out of this.....' the brunette thought as she strolled out.

The next day was much easier on Nat, people weren't gawking at her, she found some loose sweatpants to wear, and there were no signs of the cheer squad or that girl anywhe-

"Hey, watch it!" Nat snapped.
"Sorry, sweetie." the girl asked.
"Sweetie?" Nat asked.
"Daisy, I just wanted to say.... yes, I'll be your girlfriend... if you want me too." the girl asked while sliding her foot around.
Nat immediately realized that she was the girl from yesterday. And she realized that Kyra had been silently following her when the black girl dropped her backpack.
Kyra, with her jaw dropped uttered out: "OH...EM....GEE.... is that.....?"
